R6 Throttle Tube

From: Matt I recently did a few mods to my 2005 SV650S, one of which was installing an R6 throttle tube. I hadn't even really thought about upgrading it, but when I asked a friend to help put on my exhaust slip-on (he did most of the work) he said he had one that he couldn't get on his bike (SV 1000S) because the bar-ends were so tightly screwed in. All he did was swap them (done in a matter of seconds) and suddenly I had a bike that doesn't require me to twist my whole arm around to open the throttle all the way. The difference is that it only requires a quarter turn to reach full throttle and there is more tension, so it isn't so sensitive that you end up pulling it too hard on accident. All in all, for the low price tag its a pretty good deal. (He said it cost about $10.) Oh, and it works for the SV1000S as well, assuming you can get the bar ends off.        ~ Matt
